Alison Dodd
Alison Dodd is an experienced therapist with over 15 years specializing in guiding families and individuals through life’s transitions. As a licensed clinical professional counselor (LCPC), Alison brings deep compassion to her practice.
Her expertise lies in working with clients to help navigate family, relationship and life challenges. She has extensive experience working with children and young adults. She is particularly skilled in helping clients and their families build stronger relationships and manage conflict effectively.
Alison believes the client-therapist relationship is paramount to creating an effective therapeutic experience and focuses on building rapport with clients. By fostering a safe space for self-reflection, Alison guides clients towards greater self-awareness.
Alison holds a Master’s degree in Clinical and Mental Health from Trinity University. She is committed to ongoing professional development, keeping up to date on the latest research and therapeutic techniques to provide her clients with the highest standard of care.
Outside of her practice, Alison enjoys spending time with her family, friends, and her two dogs. In addition to her clinical work, Alison serves as a supervisor, offering guidance and mentorship to therapists-in-training.
